Blu Hippo Photography

I love this little boy. After all his mama and I have been BFF’s for 20+ years. Unfortunately we live 4 hours away so my family traveled up to spend the weekend with hers. We had this amazing family photo shoot planned for Saturday. We arrived Friday night and although it was dark the skies were clear! Our kids played around the yard while we sat by the fire, had some beers and roasted marshmallows. It was so fun! Wish we could do it more often. Saturday morning we woke up and it was pouring ALL day…we even had thunderstorms. I was so sad that our perfectly planned shoot was rained out. Of course Sunday morning we had to travel home and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. FIGURES! Anyway…I grabbed my camera and did manage to take some lovely pictures of Baby Knox who just turned one! Look how much he’s grown!
